FIFA 09 is the biggest seller in the UK for Christmas 2008, coming from behind to leapfrog Call of Duty: World at War and Mario Kart Wii.

World at War has dropped to the number two spot, followed by Mario Kart at three, Need for Speed: Undercover at four and Brain Training rounding out the top five.

Wii Play moved up one spot to sixth place, while Quantum of Solace jumped a full six places to seventh.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village made an impressive debut in eighth, while Tomb Raider: Underworld was in ninth. Rounding out the top ten is the ever-popular Wii Fit.

In all Nintendo took the most places with five titles in the top ten, while EA and Activision Blizzard had two apiece and Eidos one.
