Rhiannon coming in October

Lighthouse Interactive and developer Arberth Studios of West Wales have announced that the dark mythological adventure game, Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches, will be published for the PC in the UK on 24th October 2008.

Based on the gripping tales of the Mabinogion, a collection of eleven prose stories from medieval Welsh manuscripts, Rhiannon is deep rooted in Celtic mythology. This chilling first-person, point-and-click adventure follows the present day haunting of a lonely teenage girl named Rhiannon, as she unwillingly enters a world filled with supernatural phenomena, magic, myths and horror.

"Arberth Studios has crafted an instant classic with their blend of Welsh myths and legends told through a truly terrifying storyline," said Erik Schreuder, President of Lighthouse Interactive. "Rhiannon is sure to bring chills to gamers across Europe."

"We're delighted to be working with Lighthouse Interactive," commented Arberth Studios' Noel Bruton. "The company has a strong history of bringing games in this genre to European players. We have many Lighthouse titles on our own playing shelves, so we're proud to see Rhiannon joining such an illustrious portfolio and being backed by such a capable and enthusiastic team."
