Konami has conformed the release date of the demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2009. Gamers can get their opportunity to play PES 2009 ahead of it's October 17 release this Thursday, October 2.

The demo will feature a full five minute exhibition match in single or multiplayer, with a choice between playing as Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona, or the licensed Italian or French national sides.

"The PES 2009 demo will also include promotional videos detailing the new game's 'Become a Legend' and online 'Legends' modes, which see the player controlling just one player within a team and attempting to forge a career in football," explains Konami.

the demo will debut on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms, meaning Wii owners will have to wait for the official release date to see what PEs 2009 is really all about.
