An Xbox Live print ad for MTV Games' newly released Rock Band 2 appears to have confirmed that the Xbox Live service is set for an overhaul this November.

The advert urges users to "Check out the New Xbox Experience coming in Novomber."

The new Xbox Live service is expected to add an overall new look to the Xbox 360 dashboard and make it easier to navigate. It will also introduce customizable avatars and a number of additional community features. Users will also be able to install games directly to the Xbox 360's hard drive.

Microsoft has so far refused to put a date on the launch of the new service, though it did announce that Xbox Live will be going offline for up to 24 hours on Monday, September 29 "in preparation for the new Xbox experience which will be available later this fall".
