Trackmania coming to DS

TrackMania, one of the most popular racing series of all time, will soon be available on Nintendo DS.

Ascaron and Focus Home Interactive will release TrackMania DS in November 2008, providing the millions of players worldwide who have enjoyed the game on PC with a whole new experience of racing on a handheld version.

TrackMania DS allows players to drive at very fast speeds in hi-octane racers on inctricate tracks made of jumps, loops, turbo boost pads and many other crazy design elements. More than a hundred circuits in three distinct single-player modes are available.

Players will also be able to create their own tracks and race against friends who have a DS without them having to own the game through the DS's wireless communication capabilities.

Trackmania will also feature single cartridge multiplayer where players can compete with up to four friends using one cartridge for a more personal and competitive race, and an in-depth 3D track editor featuring near-limitless design options.
