Doublesix has announced that it is the developer of 'South Park' for Xbox Live Arcade as recently announced by publisher Microsoft at E3 last month.

The Guildford development studio also recently won Best New UK/European Studio at the Develop Awards - reaffirming their status as leaders and innovators in digitally distributed game development.

Studio Head James Brooksby says, "We have a great new studio here at doublesix: fantastic people, exciting projects, a good atmosphere, some amazing ideas and best of all; it's fun to work here!

South Park, the game, is scheduled for release in 2009.
